Super 8mm film of Mickey Mantle's 1st game.

A gentleman I know has a Super 8 home movie his mother has that was taken at Mickey's 1st game at Yankee stadium. Is there a market for this kind of item and if so, any idea on a value?

Thanks-
Claude

how was it determined that it was his first game @ Yankee Stadium?

Edited to add that Super 8 Film wasn't avaiable until 1965 (if one believes Wikipedia)

according to Baseball Reference, Mantle's first MLB Game (home or road) was 04/17/51 @ Yankee Stadium vs. Boston...He went 1-4 with a RBI

I have 8mm film of highlights done by a photographer who worked for the associated press. The hightlights are the 58 world series where Spahn threw a 3 hitter against the Yankees and also another highlight film of Mantles home runs in that same series (I think it was 58). I have owned those films for many years and sadly I have never watched them. I dont know what's wrong with me LOL. Maybe I'll pull them out this weekend and see if I can get them rolling and use my video recorder so I can share.

If authentic, I would contact an AH for sure before posting it anywhere.
