help me grade/submit better - 1961 Fleer Heinsohn

I frequently submit cards to PSA that I think are 6s or 7s, and they come back 4s or 5s. No big deal, but I thought this card was at least a 6. Top left corner cause it to be a 5 instead of a 6 or 7? Bad scan, sorry.

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

David ... have you looked it over carefully to see if there is a surface crease (automatic 5) you may have missed?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

+1. It can be TINY. Look for any small ripple, especially on the back along the edges.

Although a card may look like it has four sharp corners... until you "loop" the corners and sides... you can actually see paper loss. Using a high power light bulb you can pick up reflections on the surface of the card such as tiny divots, pindots..etc. If black borders...check the side view all the way around the card for re-coloring (ink will seep through). Feel the card for wax stains. On certain vintage cards I will go the extra and measure the card with a precision tool. On vintage cards from the same year and set... stack them and see if they line up on top of each other, cut wise. I found many 1959 Fleer Ted Williams cards that were short cut. Saved myself a headache by not sending them in.
