I started a Facebook group a few months ago. It's a Buy / Sell / Trade / Auction group ... with a little bit of NFL and card history, exclusively for Vintage Football Cards, players and memorabilia from the 1980's and earlier. It's starting to pick up a little momentum, and is a good place to buy, sell, trade or auction off some of your vintage football cards. It's free, private and fun.

Come on over if you get a chance, and bring some cards to sell ... or bring some cash to buy some stuff.

Yea, it's fun .. and it's different. The majority of the members are into lower and mid grade 50's, 60's and 70's cards, but as we close in on 500 members this month, we're starting to pick up a few higher grade collectors. That's why I'm posting this here, it would be nice to get some more high grade guys over there to offer more of a variety.

By the way, if anyone could add a link here to the group, I'd really appreciate it. It won't let me post a normal link.

We're closing in on 550 members this week, and are looking into possibly doing a group vintage box break soon. It will probably be a mid to late 1970's wax/cello box or maybe early 80's? There would be 28 teams randomly assigned (using auto randomizer) to 28 guys, prior to the box break. (Guys can also trade teams prior to the break). Each participant then gets all of the cards pulled from the break for their assigned team. The whole thing is video taped live and the buy-in cost will depend upon the box we all decide on. It will probably end up costing somewhere between $40 to $100 per person, plus shipping.
