...1981 topps cello pack w/ ryan on front?

got 2 packs back today from psa/bbce questioning the authenticity....I think I bought both of them (from separate guys) for $18 (total).

is it really seem worth anyone's time or energy to fabricate one @ $9 per pack???

Never know...I just recently opened a box of 1989 Topps Hockey that was searched and resealed.

Sadly Yes. At the old Willow Grove / Philly show there was a dealer that sold packs like that. Ryan, Schmidt, Seaver, etc. on top for a slightly more premium that the regular pack price. He did not do a good job resealing as he used scotch tape to seal them.

I once received a wax pack of Video City cards that were definitely resealed because the gum was missing.

yes, when I get home later i'll post some pics....still kinda in shock. don't get me wrong, eighteen bucks is eighteen bucks but the fact that someone would fake these, especially coming from 2 different sources. granted, there was no scotch tape. that's funny!
