Top loader size question

I am on eBay buying top loaders. They have different sized top loaders 100, 120, 130, 180 pt. I wanted to know what the most common size for the patch cards inserted in modern packs is. If anyone has any examples of what type of card fits in what type of holder that would be really helpful. Thanks!

In my experience there's so much variance in the thickness of these that there's no "common" size. I keep at least 5 different gauges on hand. I tend to use 75 pt and 100 pt the most often. Only once that I can remember have I had a card too thick for my 130 pt top loaders. I hope this helps.....
  • I agree, keep a variety on hand. Even in one product there can be various thicknesses.

Thanks for the input. I guess I am going to have to just get a bunch of toploaders. The price of getting my son into collecting I suppose. He is my collecting beard. I buy him modern boxes to rip for fun and to hopefully get him into cards. This way when I am looking at cards with him I can tell my wife I am spending quality time with himimage
