    Fishing is DEFINITELY a sport. It takes a lot of skills to do what these guy and gals do on these fishing tournaments. There's so much more that goes into fishing than just throwing the rod and reel out there and hoping your sinker goes down praying that you have a fish and not moss from a tree that has fallen into the water! Truly, fishing is a sport. You oughta read up on what these fisherman have to do during tournaments and all the preperations...it's more than what meets the eye. It's definitely a sport.

    As far as favorite sport...I'm going to have to say that it's close between Baseball and Basketball...but I believe Baseball has it beat BARELY...

  • My Favorite Sport is Baseball, I like collecting and watching Baseball.

    As for playing I like to play Golf and go Fishing.
    I Collect Game-Used Baseball Cards.

    no, fishing is not a sport...

    just like golf...its a game, not a sport...there needs to be some kind of activity/running for it to be a sport...

    Yeah, you might go fishing...but you do it as a hobby...you don't do it as a "sport". There's a big difference. Go to a fishing tournament or two and you'll change your views about it quickly.
