Tha Finger ... Tha Stunner ... Tha Legend.
  • the only major leagues i liked was the first 1
  • Same here, the first one was the best, but my fav. is definitely The Program.
  • theres a new one out called "o" i heard it was pretty good
  • I heard about that too, I think it's the one you're talkin about, it was made like 4 years ago, but they didnt release it cuz it was too graphic or something, I think omar epps is in it and that dude from pearl harbor, and that chick from umm save the last dance. It does look good tho.
  • I have the DVD of the movie "O",it is basketball, love story rolled into one.It is based on the Shakesphere writings "Othello".My favorite sports movies would have to be "The Rookie" and "Any Given Sunday"

    1. Rudy
    2. Slapshot
    3. The Program
    4. Any Given Sunday
    5. Remember The Titans

    Hon mention
    Field of dreams
Babe (no the baseball player not the pig)

There's a nice list of top 5 sports movies. I could flip them in any order and I'd be happy. As for suggestions like movies "O" that is not a sports movie, that's a love story. Replacements? Yikes....Kenu playing sports...playing a guitar....doing matrix moves...on a surf board.....that wouldn't even make my top 25.

    Remember the Titans
    Rudy

  • Hoosiers was great.

Did anyone ever see North Dallas Forty? Written by Pete Gent who was actually a wide reciever for the Dallas Cowboys in the 60's? Not a just a sports story written by a player. It was an author who happened to be an athlete.

Field of Dreams was a CLASSIC... that movie was just plain good... there were many others i liked too (Rudy, Major League, Hoosiers, The Program), but these 2 were my favorite...
