What a waste of a Mantle auto

    what am I missing?
    I don't like the cut card autos myself (when they are cut off a picture or baseball card)
    but what is the issue with the seller?

    Seems fine to me. Why is the guy who created it a douche? I am assuming there is no problem with seller?!?!?!?

    I'd like to see the JSA cert that supposedly matches that Mantle cut auto, because the one pictured in Prob's auction is a forgery in my opinion. I understand JSA and all authenticators may miss some here and there, but one this so obvious, I doubt it.

    No issue with the seller. It's consigned.

    The creator of this card, created another with a 53Topps template.

    People told him the "custom" quality was not good and he went on a rant about how many Mantle autos he has then posted a picture of 100's all over a table and then believes anyone who doesn't like the quality of the card is loser living in their parent's basement.

    That makes him a douche.

    I like custom cut autos, but THAT one looks like CRAP!!!!! As Lee stated, the cut is HORRIBLE. Also, the auto itself, on Mantle's uniform, does not look good on that card. I am a HUGE Mantle fan, but would NEVER buy that one! Doran must be cringing looking at that! Doesn't compare to his work:

    Poor old Mick must have had a serious case of Parkinson's when he was signing it too. Zoom in on the sig and look at how shakey the m's are. Looks like another Marino forgery because he never could get the m's right and was a dead giveaway on his forgeries.

    If that was real would you not send it in to PSA / DNA to have it slabbed and (re?) authenticated?

    This guy is getting skewered over on the BO forums for this. Apparently he made another custom using the same auto and got some harsh feedback. Lashed out pretty widely on members about being rich and such.

    This is my favorite Mantle auto. Still LOVE that you were able to find it!

    My fiance is a HUGE Michael Jackson fan and I search, everyday, for a personalized one to get her.
