Regrade Ruth with PSA?

Any thoughts on what this Ruth would be regraded at by PSA? Assuming whatever it was would have (MK) designation due the mark on the back. But no creases, good color and the corners aren't terrible. Thanks for your input!

<< <i>The top left corner looks clipped off and with the "D" on the back of the card, I'm guessing PSA 1.5 MK. >>
I don't think the top corner is clipped, it appears to be black marker on the corner???

<< <i>I would crack and sub to PSA for the sole reason that vintage cards just don't look right in BGS slabs. Not to mention the soft sleeve they use dulls the card's appearance and does not scan well. >>
I was thinking along those lines. Should I crack it myself? Sounds risky - where can I learn how to do this? OR do I send to PSA in the BGS slab and let them do it?
Also, which resale is better PSA 1 (MK) or BGS 2?
Thanks again,
Scott
Here you have a great vintage card (regardless of condition) but because Beckett is so geared to modern cards you get their lousy 3rd place label which detracts from the display appearance of the card in the holder. Gold, silver or "you lose" white label.
And for that matter who wants a 2nd place silver label?
Their whole business trajectory over the years would be a whole lot different if they had just used an uniform label.

It's very easy to crack a BGS slab. There are numerous threads on cracking slabs. Use the search feature and lots should come up.
In a nutshell, just nip a corner off the slab and pry open with a flathead screwdriver. I've been cracking BGS slabs off and on for the past 10 years and never damaged a card (knock on my wood).
Plus, it's hard to damage the card being that it's sealed in the soft sleeve.

<< <i>May come back as "trimmed" due to the corner. With the writing PSA 3 PD or 4 PD? >>
Writing is actually MK (Mark) not PD (Print Defect). My class on qualifiers has already passed, but you get the idea.
<< <i>Better to crack myself and send or send in case and let PSA crack. >>
If you want an unbiased opinion of the grade, crack yourself.
