Thanks! It's a very nice coin. What's even more amazing is how relatively cheap it is. Can you imagine what a proof striking of a US colonial piece would bring?

Do the 8 Reales all have what appears to be an upside down 5 in the date? I looked up some other examples and it seems that they are all that way.

Also, I see some pretty nice more modern copper on your ebay page, is that where all of that stuff goes? I do not see it listed on your VOC page.

The 5 is not really an upside down figure, but it's the style they used at the Mexico City Mint in the time period. There are some very rare pieces that use a conventional 5 as we know it but they don't come around too often.

The more modern copper is generally only listed on eBay. I try to get the more historical, older and more expensive coins on my website as those are the coins that I prefer to deal in. For now those are also listed on eBay, but eventually I hope to just do ebay for cheaper items.
