1st one. Bottom corners look a little off to me on the bottom one.

Equally scanned correct Doug? The lower one looks washed out. I'd also go with the top one if unfiltered scans. The other Doug

Are these both from the same scanner? Saturation is too high on the first and too low on the second. Each has enough fisheyes, I'd pass on both.

One was from the Internet and the other one I scanned. I didn't change any settings ... scanned it just like I have the other thousands of cards in the past.

Put those 2 in a dark room with a bottle of vodka and let them out after they make a baby.

#1, of course, but can't really say for sure till both are scanned on same settings, though centering is also better on first one.

The top one seems to have a greener border with less snow. The corners on the top one are much sharper than the bottom one.

    #1.

L/R centering is a little better on bottom card.

Top card has a brighter photo and t/b centering is a little better.

I also thought the top one was better.

I just got back a sub from PSA, which included the top one ... it came back a "9". If people think it's strong MAYBE I get $40.00.

The bottom one sold on eBay within the last year ... it was in a "10" holder and went for over $2,000.00. There were also a few other "10's" that sold for more than $2,000.00 ... and I think my card is at least as nice.

    Oh well.

+1. She's a beaut Doug, unless there's a surface issue we can't see in the scans that's worth another try!

I just found this thread and agree the top card is more visually appealing (the bottom card appears to have slight softness in the bottom right corner). In any event, to help keep your sanity, remember even though there are standards for the grades, it remains high subjective. Unless and until we get to computer graders (gosh, I hope not), we simply have to accept it. Try again and keep the fingers crossed!
