What is the best way to delete a set

What is the best way to delete a set. Do not want to delete the coins from inventory. The set is 100%, so do not want to retire. The desire is to delete the set completely... Is there a best way?
My 20th Century Type Set, With Type Variations---started : 9/22/1997 ---- completed : 1/7/2004

My 20th Century Gold Major Design Type Set ---started : 11/17/1997 ---- completed : 1/21/2004

    There is an option to delete all coins from the set. Login to the registry, go to my sets and click on the set of interest. Near the top should be a list of options, one of which is to delete all coins from the set.
