1975 Topps George Brett mini...

I will be checking out a very sharp 1975 Topps mini set. Here is a pic of the Brett. Not the best scan but it's all I got to work with right now.
Top/bottom is off and I know we have lots of 1975 Mini experts here... would this grade at a PSA 8 or with a qualifier?

8OC (or possibly 9OC) would be my guess, Tom, due to T/B centering. Nice card for a raw set, though.

    Might get a straight 8.

    Good luck!

I measure 69.5/30.5. So probably an 8 OC or 7 NQ.
  • I'd say it's a pretty easy straight 7.

A 9OC might even command a better price than a NM 7, about $100. I can't see it grading an 8 even on a good day.

I agree Grote. With a few exceptions, in order to have any chance at an 8 on these Mini's with respect to centering, the distance from the bottom card edge to just touching the player's name needs to be at least 2 mm and not a hair less. I'm guessing yours is about 1.5 mm.
  • I'm going to say 7
Bottom edge is bothering me a bit but may be scan

    64.5 % it's a 7
    21.3 % it's a 6.5
    13.75% it's a 6
    the rest a 5.5
Work hard and you will succeed!!
  • You may not get an OC on this card. But the colors look a bit faded so the surface, I would think, would knock it down a bit. I would GUESS a 7.
But only PSA would know if you sent it in.
