<< <i>"Next time bobby have some proof before saying begsu1013 owns the card"

Why should Bobby be held to a higher standard. Allegations are thrown around on this forum on a daily basis. >>

it's ok. really. not a bad thing if folks think I have two 9's of the all time hit leader...but in all reality, just one. which will never be sold (hopefully).

but while we are throwing around half-truths: I heard that bobby invented the telephone, but when he picked it up for the first time, he had 2 missed calls from me.

    what have you heard? >>

Can I make you an offer for your rose Psa 9?image

Stevie Wonder called. He said that people who use his name in a blind joke are jerks. And he also called to say he loves you.

Please tell me you came up with that yourself. That is incredible, and I will admittedly steal it and use it until the day I die.

Many more where that came from, Greg. It chaps my hide when people use one of the greatest musicians of our time in such a demeaning way.

<< <i>PWCC does such a great job with the scans of back & front that they give. Lots of auctions give a blurry fuzzy picture with barely any detail... PWCC auctions just feel professional and with his great reputation, you trust you'll get what you win quickly. At least this is what I've heard. Never won an auction from him, but sometime in the future i'm sure I will.

Best of luck on your epic PSA 9 Rose listing! >>

Yes PWCC seems so much better on centering and back scans. I'm sure that's why they've swung ahead in picking up consignments over Probstein.

They do a great job with scans which is very helpful. Also, their descriptions of items are fairly accurate, and if you have viewed their auctions they will state things such as "finest example we have offered in several years" or "close to a nm/mt+ as we have seen so bid accordingly. " Some places say great centering on every on of their listings which I believe waters down their auctions. One thing I have seen with PWCC is on a card that is "weak" for the grade they will usually note things like "chip less borders" or "clean surface" - that is usually like describing a girl to your buddies as she has a nice personality!
