  • I don't know much about the barber series, but I'm going to guess 58.

It's MS, but those obverse scratches are going to limit the grade to MS61.

MS63 in my opinion based on the photo

MS62, based on the marks on the obverse. I think the pockmarks on the cheek and the size of the scratches keep it from a higher grade.

I can't see any wear, but a reasonable amount of bag marks, so I would say MS62.

Sweet rev, but as others said, with the hits on the obv, I'm also going with 62.

I think the 62 is the highest it will go as well. Nice coin, though.

Looks 62 from here. Never know, though -- pic can exaggerate as well as hide. The slide marks alone don't necessarily doom it, but it's got enough chatter besides.

the strike is bold. the luster is bright. the toning attractive. The 3 linear obverse marks probably don't appear near as bad on the actual coin as they do on the blow ups, and the reverse looks gem.

    MS 63.

MS61 due to the very visible scratches in key visual areas. The uneven obverse toning is also a negative.

PCGS 58, but no CAC sticker.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

For my own knowledge I'd like to see where there is circulation on this coin?

    I say 62.

It's a nice enough coin and the details are sharp, but the toning pattern doesn't thrill me.
