My birthday present from my kids

Both of our kids (ages 25 & 22) are contributing members of society (read: they've got good jobs and are supporting themselves), and live on the opposite sides of the country from us. We're proud as hell of both them but miss them from our empty nest. They made my birthday very special this year by combining forces to buy me the card below. How about that for a great b-day present?!?

    Very nice card and more importantly , very nice children . In the age of the out stretched palm and the ever comfortable societal hammock , its great to know there are still parents that can get the job done . Your children speak well of you and your wife .

    Tattoo Orbit. Nice HOF Hard to find in Psa 7. I am working on a set myself. Have about a third of the set in mostly PSA 6 and 7. I think its a very undervalued set and not very easy to find.

    Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    I remember this set as a kid when I appreciated its elegance via a book of reprint cards.

    Congratulations most of all for raising a couple of wonderful, responsible, and thoughtful children. The card is very impressive, and Lyons was an underrated workhorse for the lowly hitting Sox who had a HOF career in spite of that.
