VCP on some Nolan Ryan cards please

Needing to see what VCP is on the following Ryan cards please.

1968 rookie - PSA 8
1972 Ryan PSA 8.5
1975 Ryan PSA 8.5

Also, curious as to why the 75 Ryan in high grade is worth more than the Brett or Yount from that year. Thank you in advance for the help.

Have the Aaron in a 9 and a pair of 8.5's in 1975, and looking to upgrade my Ryan and Brett into 8.5's or 9's. Prefer 8.5's right now since I have a few larger fish I am looking to grab right now, and want to hold on to the budget until I secure a few Mantle's in 8's from 1956 and 1957. Made a bid for one on Ebay at the VCP price (Ryan) in an 8.5, and they are asking $999 - not even going to offer close to that. The seller has offered stuff before where they were not close to SMR or VCP - anyone ever heard of Cardboard Kingz? Think I will wait for another one to come along.

My offer was the same, and it was declined as well. He has some nice items in his inventory, but have tried fair and reasonable offers before to no avail. His response on another card was that he had an offer already for $675 on a card that had a BIN for around $700 and a VCP of about $525-550. Inventory is great to have but cash flow is better. I will move along since there are plenty more to buy.

Its mostly based on the population as there are only 40 PSA 9 #500 Ryans while there are 200 Bretts and 182 Younts.
Buying 75 Topps Reg. Size PSA 9
1975 Topps Registry Set "Scott's 75 Topps Set"

Feel like I should be brushing up on my Keynesian theory of economics after reading this one image
Had not checked the pop, and that would make sense in regards to supply of each card. All 3 cards look great in high grade with the colors of the 1975 set being a major factor.
