Timing ebay bucks?

Anyone know the methodology they use for quadruple deals etc? Seems I make a big purchase and the next day is my offer...I have a big purchase to make and I cringe doing it as I'll wake up tomorrow with the deal? Coincidence? Has this happened to others?

I know they're more frequent towards the end of the quarter, usually run at least two good ones a few weeks before the quarter closes. Other than that, seems pretty random. Probably have more when it gets closer to holiday shopping too.

There's a guy on here that is an expert at predicting these ahead of time. All you do is look at a high dollar auction that is going to end in a few days, and if a deal will be going on when that auction ends, you will see the increased ebay bucks. This does not work on Buy-It-Now's.

Well I pulled the trigger as I didn't want to wait...we'll see if I get the ebay bucks offer in the next couple days...for sure.
