Should Yogi Berra (or any other Yankee) receive a Yankee Stadium monument?

As most baseball fans (especially Yankee fans) know, the Yankees are quite famous for having by far the most retired numbers (I believe with Jeter and Torre all single digits will be retired) as well as the plaques they use to honor not only players but even whenever they host a Papal mass (I think all three 'Stadiums (1923, 1976, 2009) got to host at least one right?).
But of course the greatest honor any Yankee can get is one that they will never live to see...a huge shiny monument. For many decades only Miller Huggins, Lou Gehrig, and Babe Ruth stood alone in deep center field (prior to the mid 70s renovation; since only one section of the original actually survived, I consider 1976-2008 a separate ballpark) but then right after Mickey in 1995 and JoeD in 1999 passed away, they too received monuments and then a sixth one was erected...but it was sadly not to commemorate a great Yankee, but in remembrance of a dark chapter of our nation's history.
All of that being said, which Yankee (if any) do you think is most deserving of a monument? I personally think Yogi is the most qualified player, and Mel Allen is the most qualified non-player. Did Mel at least get a plaque or something? I mean c'mon we hung a jersey and named our damn court after our beloved Cawood Ledford, Mel is just as if not more deserving of some sort of big honor like that.

Off the top of my head here I think any or all of the following players could be considered ( And Im not that in the know of other Yankee greats )
Babe Ruth
Lou Gehrig
Joe Dimmagio
Derek Jeter
Mickey Mantle
Yogi Berra
Casey Stengel
Joe Torre
Mariano Rivera
Whitey Ford
sorry for my ignorance, but is there a statue commemorating 9/11?
The monuments mounted posthumously on five large red granite blocks are the highest honor of all. Only six Yankees have been so recognized: players Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and Joe DiMaggio, manager Huggins, and owner George Steinbrenner.

I don't think George's should count because his tribute is not the same as the real monuments and really for someone like him to get a monument is a joke.

I am not a Yankee fan, but even though Steinbrenner had his faults, he was a big part of the team returning to greatness. Stengel's record seems to be as good as Huggins as well, perhaps even better.
Personally. I would have only recognized players, and also would have found a different way to acknowledge 9-11.
