Saturday Delivery at PSA

Sent a package via USPS with signature confirmation to PSA. Went out for delivery yesterday, then status updated to "available for pickup". Does anyone have experience with this and know whether it's normal for PSA not to sign for mail on the weekend? I am assuming that they'll grab it on Monday and am not too concerned, but thought I'd ask.

Is it just me, or does having a picture of the Fonz say "don't worry", let you know that you REALLY shouldn't worry.

I did find that quite reassuring! Thanks, guys.
  • Heh, that is actually true. And to think the Fonz was in reality the dirty biker high school drop out mechanic of the show. He twisted that role a bit in that show.

No worries as others said. Specifically, it means no one was there to sign for it and the carrier took it back to that ZIP code's home PO. They can come pick it up or have it redelivered. Same concept with PO Boxes. The package is sent to the counter and a notice is left in the box. They have to sign for it at the counter before it's scanned as 'delivered'.
  • PSA is closed on Saturday. Their mail goes to a Post Office box, so they don't pick it up until Monday. Available for pick up means that a notice (one of those pink slips) was put into their Post Office box. I wouldn't be surprised if PSA receives a LOT of these on Saturday's. There is not a carrier involved. A clerk at the Post Office made the scan.

    Mailing Address:
    PSA, Professional Sports Authenticator
    P.O. Box 6180

Thanks, Rick. For some reason, I thought they were open for limited operations on Saturdays.
  • Charrigan, just to verify. Do you know what WWDBD is.
