How much is this Sterling silverware worth today

An acquaintance has a 50 piece set of silverware, Royal Danish International.

She would like to know what to consider as a fair price to be paid ( per ounces ) by a bullion dealer / jeweler at today's market.

Thanks for any help!

Most fair shop buyers pay 78-82% of spot price for sterling . so at 17.30 per oz so 14 an oz is a good rule.

Make sure that she's not over estimating silver weight in the knife handles which are often hollow or filled. And knife blades which are often steel or white metal. Spoons and forks tend to be the real money makers.

I agree, if a knife weighs 100 grams to me its worth about 35 grams...
