so returning to this love of coins...i had to have a 13' type 1...on a budget...looking for strike
top is seller image...displays the obverse hair detail better then my attempt on bottom image which captured sweet feathers nicely

my imaging...(improving some with a lil point n shoot kodak)

then i had to have one with some color...strike suffered huge...even a darn spot...didn't even see the rim bump on top of reverse
oh well....better examples of color are in my future...and i see this as a future giveaway piece...

That 1936 really shimmers. Exceptional. Finding luster like that, even on a common date, can be challenging.

Buffalo nickels are one of the highest relief coins struck for circulation. That's one reason I like 'em.
