i suspect this lincoln fits that title nicely...no way either designation would be assigned
a great red highlight on yellow fields...i still liked him enough to pull that $2 delivered trigger
enjoy if ya do

MPL's - Lincolns of Color
Central Valley Roosevelts
thanks too for your respected input
cool as i'll have hope it may get it's designation when i sub him
oh man, if only they'd toned all the way. yowza.
that shade/hue/tone/pitch/ or whatever of purple is fantastic on bronze/copper imo.

<< <i>I love the way you shot that 62. Here's my set coin.
this is seller supplied image from "macvanderstein" off of ebay...
he really has sweet images
that 45 degree shadow captures frost contrast and mirror of fields within a straight on image
yup i agree the seller totally rocked this shot...no need for tru-view on this...
absolutely amazing they can be as your example there "D"
How about this potential DCAM I am selling for a customer "killed by toning"?
Wondercoin
very sweet example by the way
correct me if i'm wrong as i've lots to learn here
robec's example defined i'm wrong on my lincoln
toning and cameo....i've heard it's a no go on brown copper
i know the sms series they are pretty picky about full mirrored field and full frosted devices
my coin i can't see any contrast on liberty to field...so i thought it's a lock...no go
so muted mirror of field...a greyline on this designation?

some of those 1970-s examples get crazy

@Wondercoin, I think the OP is referring to the fact that PCGS refuses to designate RB and BN copper as CAM or DCAM. Regardless of how good the cameo contrast is, PCGS will only designate CAM and DCAM on coins that they also call RD. Nice trime, but not relevant to the copper RD/CAM discussion.

It's toned and comes from the same year -- it was a comment on toning, not on cameo status. I wasn't being confrontational, I was simply stating that with regard to CAM/DCAM status, copper is a world all its own with PCGS grading. Period.
