latest addition to the 75 topps collection

I figured that since I'm so into the 75s, both regulars and minis it only made sense to add some additional pieces to the collection. I picked up these sheets at auction a couple of months back and I recently had them framed so I could do something with them. I'm really happy with how these turned out and they look absolutely awesome hanging on the wall in my office with the rest of my cards and autographs. Hope you guys enjoy.

Here's all 3 from a distance.

Now for some closeups of each sheet. These aren't in great condition, but for wall art - they are perfect.

Here's the best of the bunch featuring Brett and Yount.

    Awesome additions, Ryan!!

Edit to add: Those sheets also effectively illustrate why the red/yellow and green/yellow card combos are tougher in high grade and often "short" due to placement on the top edge of the sheet. Conversely, the pink/yellow and tan/blue card combos are often "long" out of the pack due to placement on the bottom edge of the sheet.

Also edit to add: Munson leads to Brett on that particular sheet.

  • As an avid fan of this set and someone who finished his just this year....WOW! Those are spectacular! They look great framed. Congrats on the win and those displays. Also, just a side note, love your icon. Fletch is my all time favorite comedy.

Love these sheets. I have a few 81s and 78s but would love to land a 75.

    Thanks,

  • The year I started collecting. What it cost to frame if I can ask?
  • Thanks everybody for the kudos. To answer the question about costs, I spent close to $1000 getting all 3 sheets framed. They are in black metal frames with a uv blocking glass.

Well worth it to properly display and protect your sheets. They look incredible. Well done.

Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.
