Ebay change - 3 stars is now a Low DSR
I am surprised that there has not been a huge fuss that Ebay is now
counting 3 stars as a "Low DSR" -- a DEFECT in the transaction for
the buyer being "satisfied."
The reason - Ebay wants every buyer to be FULLY SATISFIED and they believe buyers
leaving 3 stars -- meaning they are only SATISFIED -- indicates DISSATISFACTION
and a "problem seller" who "repeatedly leaves his customers less than fully satisfied"
And, of course, undeserving of the 20% discount on fees, and being set up for the
final slaughter of small and medium size sellers.

I think it's an effort to curb the 20% discount
few people leave 3 stars. Either you were dissatisfied or satisfied. Some folks just can't give perfect ratings even if the transaction went smooth. That's the 4 star. Poor service typically is 1 star, so to answer your question about why no fuss....I think there are too few ratings to raise a fuss about

Tell me, if you were a regular customer at a restaurant, always paid cash with generous tips and an automated message on your phone told you that because you only came in 27 times that year instead of the required 30 your service would be 20% slower what would you say to them?
Practice makes perfect & nobody is perfect. So, practice being nobody.
Ironically, since the striped me of my "Top Rated" status my sales (and their revenue) have dropped very noticeably. Shakespeare attested that we should kill all the lawyers, today we may want to start with the MBA's.
Assuming the final slaughter of the small and medium sellers occurs, whats in it for ebay? I think I know the answer but I am curious what some of you say. Perhaps there is something I don't know.
<< <i>Seems like eBay is forgetting the sellers are customers too. >>
Exactly. It reminds me of a scene of an enraged Michael in GTA 5. He is leaving the movie studio where is a producer and telling off the guard who is hassling him at the gate: "See this badge, I am your Gx boss and you better refuxxxxx remember it." GTA 5 is a video game of Michael de la Santa in Los Santos (Los Angeles) who is a bank robber. He has a swanky house in Vinewood (Hollywood) with a pool, fancy landscaped backyard, and tennis court (I use the tennis court as a Helipad, landing can be tricky at night coming down and not hitting the lights).

Aren't they the only eBay customers?
