Is it unreasonable to try and buy small amounts of Silver for $ 1 over spot, like a couple generic 5 ounce or a 10 ounce bar?

Just sold a few 10 ounce Englehard bars for $190 each.
I told the guy I'd be happy to buy them at that price, too.

Sounds reasonable if you find a non dealer who wants to sell.

Not unreasonable at all. I put some rolls of ASEs up on Craigslist for $420. Someone offered $260 a roll. Told him I was born at night, but it warn't last night.

many bullion dealers offer generic silver for less than $1 over spot. Take your pick.

Natural forces of supply and demand are the best regulators on earth.
