    You might already be aware of this, but I believe your 1909-s V.D.B. may be a prime candidate for PCGS restoration service. It's an outstanding example, and the environmental "damage" can likely be repaired.

    I was going to suggest NCS, forgetting that our hosts now have their own restoration service.

    I agree- that SVDB deserves some careful conservation, because it's a gorgeous coin, and I can't help but wonder if that reverse spot isn't treatable. Maybe it is. At least it's not in a prime focal area.

    If the restoration/conservation is successful, there surely must be some good upside potential there?
