What is the best way to protect an uncut sheet of baseball cards?

What is the best way to protect and store an uncut sheet of baseball cards?

I would like it to remain flat.

Is there any type of holder especially made for uncut sheets that can be purchased somewhere?

Options I have read about: Mylar D, Melinex®, polyester. Which is best? What should I avoid?

This is only for preservation. Not to display.

I found this which looks good.

Do I need a backing?

You can also go to a hobby store and buy a very cheap poster frame with 4 plastic edgers/clips that keep the plexiglass in place. Usually comes with a paper or cardboard backing. They also come in various sizes.

If I were you I would buy a tube and roll it up. Less chances of it coming in contact with anything that could damage it.

Do NOT roll it! I recently went through a bunch of stuff I had in tubes and the items that were thick like cardstock developed creases. The thin stuff was all good.

A giant top loader would work and then tape it to a stiff piece of cardboard.

That was my next question. How do I prevent warping?

Do I really want to tape it?

He meant tape the top loader to a piece of cardboard. Sheet is in top loader.

I keep mine is giant top loaders, and them put all of them between 2 pieces of card board that is clamped together to avoid the sheets sagging. Eventually they get framed.
