Always go with 90% as long as it's not too thin/worn coins.
Why? When it comes time to sell, it's easier to sell and you'll recoup more of any premium you may have paid upfront. jmho

Generic 1 oz. bars at 2.70 over spot are far from being a good deal.

Truth! You can buy Sunshine bars at $.70 over plus ship at Goldmart, or Silvertown bars at $1 over shipped if you buy 10, so why pay anything more than that if you're just looking for generic silver...

I have always preferred 90%. It's vintage, historical, and collectible. I'm not a fan of the manufactured shiny souvenir stuff. Although I do have some of the new shiny stuff, I prefer 90% any day.
