Purchasing a card from a 2014 Leaf Best of Baseball pack

I am new to collecting and not sure how familiar collectors are with these packs.

For anyone not familiar with 2014 Leaf Best of Baseball, included in the pack is a PSA graded card from the past.

On ebay there is a card for sale that came from a 2014 Leaf Best of Baseball pack.

Is there any reason not to purchase a card from one of these packs?

If you are talking about buying a single card that has already been pulled from a box, no, go right ahead. It's just a repackaged product. Leaf buys up a ton of graded cards and then boxes them up to sell. No different from buying any graded card and there is no difference.

If you are talking about buying a box, save your money. Products like this were made for two types of collectors: gamblers and group breakers (still gamblers). They are fun to break, but the odds of recouping your money on a box is slim unless you pull a monster card.
