1883 Shield Nickel - overdate?

I may be seeing something between the second 8 and the 3, but then again it may just be wishful thinking? Any opinions? I've thought about trying to remove some of the gunk in the devices to see if this helps make the date area clearer.

1883/2 Shield Nickels
Jack Beymer once called these "clouds in the sky." In other words, you see what you want to see in the swirls of the metal. If there is actual raised metal, then we have something worth investigating.
P.S. Before I looked at your photo with arrows, I saw different clouds.
P.S.S. At least this is an 1883, not the &&** 1882 filled 2 that everyone wants to sell as if it were an 1883/2.

Overdirt, maybe.
Srsly, tho', I dunno. I don't see anything there, even with the help of the little blue arrows?
(Then again, spotting stuff like this is not my strong suit.)

thats what it looks like to me to. jmo
<< <i>RPD, but not an Overdate >>
Only possible evidence I see for an RPD is the little ear on the left top of the second 8. It's not much to go on. Would need to see the coin in person.
