The plan worked, leading to a double play and ending the game.

If it had failed, Buck still had a 2-1 series lead, but would have taken a lot of heat.

Glad to see the fellow stick his neck out and not just play it safe.

    I totally agree. Buck Showalter was brilliant yesterday.

    Now that the Angels have ascended to Heaven I'd like to see Dodgers vs. Orioles in the series. Both mgrs. with Yankee connections. But would hate to see either lose.
