My latest purchase from my favorite shop

Have wanted this classic since I started collecting prewar a few years ago. They called me after they got this beauty back from PSA and I'm pretty thrilled it's now mine. Enjoy!

Wow. That is a very nice-looking card. I am surprised that it was not graded higher than PSA EX-MT 6. Congratulations.

I agree that it appears to be better than a 6 (maybe centering is the only issue). Nice pickup. The best ones are the ones that look like a 7 and get at a 6 price! Congrats.
  • Gorgeous card, man.

  • Awesome I was reading about these cards last night. I want to move to some older stuff once I get 1955 topps done.

That is one classic looking baseball card. And man does it look better than the grade. Looks like an 8+ with those corners. It's also full-bordered and fills the holder completely, which is a big added bonus. One heck of a pickup.

Andy, nice one. Beautiful eye appeal on that Collins. And it looks gorgeous in that new holder.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys, I really appreciate it.

If possible, I'm even more excited about my win last night. If it's as nice as it looks, it will be, by far, my finest example of "buy the card, not the holder" that I'll own. Stay tuned, I should have it in-hand later this week and I can't wait to show it off!
