Help in grading cards - 1989 Gretzky and Lemieux

Hi guys ... I'm piggybacking with a fellow board member and needed a few more cards. I came across a lot of 150 Gretzky and 150 Lemieux 1989 Topps Cards that I bought probably 10+ years ago and never even looked at them. (I have no idea why I even bought them, as I don't collect hockey!!!!) They were still wrapped in the bubble wrap. I went thru them this morning and took out the best of the lot. I don't send in that often, so I am asking for your help.

Do you think any of them have a shot at a "10"? If so, which ones? Thanks for your opinions.

<< <i>My guess is that if you see any white on any of those blue corners, then don't submit them. They most likely have
to be four square, blue corners to at least pull a 9. Any white and it will get no higher than an 8. Good luck. >>

This is very informative. Thanks 1970s.

You really need a loupe for 1989 Topps. It goes from a big score to a big zero between a 10 and a 9. Slight chipping is common on these cards. Look as closely as you can.
