Has anyone ever received a card that was missing a letter in the grade description before?? Not calling out the seller, I believe he is a member on here. Just wondering if this is a common occurrence.

The scanner removed it.
A funny example:
I once sold a Roberto Clemente card with the "l" in Clemente missing (as a result of my scanner's dust removal feature. A buyer bought the card thinking he found a new variation, but was disappointed to see the full "Clemente" spelt out. He demanded a refund

Looks like it removed some chunks out of the bar code as well. I don't recall ever seeing gaps that wide.
