OT Fantasy footbal question

I have Alex Smith as my QB. Another guy has Tom Brady and is fed up with his lack of playing. He told me that he is willing to trade Brady to me if I give him Alex Smith. Right now Alex is the better QB but does everyone here think that it is Tom Brady and that he will step it up soon and become the great QB that he was before? Would you make that trade.

    I don't like Alex Smith in fantasy at all so I'd probably do the trade. But a big concern for me would be
    the lack of options for Brady to throw to. When Julius Edelman is the go to guy you know you have problems.

    For FFB, I actually think Alex Smith has more potential than Brady this year. Brady's on my team and I benched him for Rothlisberger going forward.

    I'd probably take Bridgewater, Orton, or other options likely available on waivers over either one at this point.

    Funny, I picked up Bridgewater and may wind up cutting Brady -- strange as that sounds -- if his point production remains minuscule.

    Thing is that we have a 2 QB league with 14 teams. The only available QBs are horrible right now.

    In that case I would pass on the trade or try to get more than just Brady. If you took the name away and looked only at stats and team context, there's no way you could even consider the trade.

    i was thinking of that too. I saw the name "Brady" and thought to his glory days. Now even Eli manning is better than him. Thanks for the help.
