PSA and poppage times

It seems to me that people here on the boards are getting some quick poppage after a few months of some really long wait times. Is there anyone out there now with an order that is more than two months old? I have an 80 card order logged on 8/9 but originally was thinking it would be Halloween before I saw the cards. I did have one order pop in two weeks under the monthly special a few weeks ago so that has kept me pretty happy overall. Hoping to hear positive reports from submitters........

1 ticket logged 8/11. 45 day grading, so still under the alloted time. Turnaround times and poppage have been very good for me lately too. I use the online system for all my subs and it is awesome.

A few months ago, I think PSA was backed up a bit. But now things are turning around pretty quickly. My last few submissions, which I think were 20 or 30 day would take 3 to 7 business days to get logged into the system. Once logged, they've been popping after another 3 to 7 business days. Overall, exceeding the 20 or 30 day expectation.

Now....if only I can get the grades to exceed my expectations.. image

This isn't long, but I have a 75 card sub that sat before it got logged for 15 days or so, that finally got logged on 9/11.

    Later, Paul.

Yep, seems like things are lightening up. That's probably the motivation for carrying the sub-$6 special for three months straight.

As a stock holder, I have a theory...

I tested this out myself last quarter with mixed results, but this quarter I was 100% accurate. Remember the sample size is just 1 person.

This past month I sent in 6 submissions - 2 were paid by credit card and 4 by check. Because this is the end of the fiscal quarter, the credit card submissions were graded and the 4 paid by check have not been graded.

9/22/2014 9/30/2014 Shipped 50 Monthly Special 6 PSA (8 calendar day turnaround on a bulk 50 working day special)
    9/2014 N/A OK 51 Monthly Special 6 PSA
    9/17/2014 N/A OK 50 Monthly Special 6 PSA
    9/17/2014 N/A OK 52 Monthly Special 6 PSA
    9/17/2014 N/A OK 50 Monthly Special 6 PSA
    9/13/2014 9/17/2014 Shipped 50 Monthly Special 6 PSA

My first and last submission were paid by credit card - PSA will not charge your credit card until grades are complete, check are cashed right away. Thus cash flow before the quarter ends.

    Happy stock holder - Me

    Anyone have a similar experience?

Interesting on the check vs cc. I now only pay by credit card because they don't issue vouchers anymore

You've had pack subs pop in 15-20 days?? That would be a record, unless they are no longer using Steve.

I believe the 'just some packs' was in reference to the original question of who had subs waiting longer than two months and what followed was the cards experience.

Thanks for clarifying~I thought that might be what you meant but it wasn't exactly clear by your post.
