Question - Dorsett RC PSA 10

What would have happened causing the population to go from 10 to 9 within the last 5 days?
Thanks

Still working on getting on, but not for any crazy amount.

Maybe someone cracked one out and notified PSA to remove it from the pop report?

Guess I couldn't imagine doing that for what the value of it is.

I know, that would seem nuts! Or maybe they found an issue within their pop report system and some data was not entered correctly. Good question.

Don't they temporarily take the old cert# down when something is submitted for reholder service until it has been reholdered and they put it back up?

One other possibility is a 10 was transacted and the new owner found a flaw on the card that warranted a buy-back. PSA would then remove that card from the holder and population and then reholder it in the correct grade.

This seems like the most likely scenario. Any time something is in their possession for review this is what happens. It would make sense if it was this way for a reholder too.
  • I sent one of mine in for reholdering. You should see it go back to 10 in the pop shortly. Ken and Evan are correct. When PSA reholders pop temporarily goes down one until in new holder.
