Here are my results from my 5 coin submission at Long Beach:
1865 2C USA DNC - is NGC MS-66 BN, chose 65 as minimum. I thought 65 was reasonable for this one.
1832 H10C USA MS62 - was MS-63. has nice toning on both sides. The holder was very scratched up too.
1819 50C USA AU53 - crossed at grade, a nice looking AU
1823 50C USA AU53 - was AU-55, has nice blue rim toning, luster screams in the stars
1824 50C USA AU58 - crossed at grade, a nice white blazer
I did choose minimum grade on each of these since I bought these over a decade ago at very good prices, so even with the downgrades I knew I would come out well ahead. All of these have good eye appeal, I'll post pictures when they get back.
Anyone else out there do the quarterly special? Today was the last day!

"luster screams in the stars" is the title of my autobiography
Do you remember the day when PCGS would tell you why it didn't cross...with a note about the grade they would have given it? I miss those days. I don't blame them for stopping it. On a couple of occasions I resubmitted, expecting the grades they forecast and the new ones were lower. I wrote some angry emails.
I'd like to see images of the bust halves when they arrive!
Lance.
