How was business this summer for dealers?

Hi folks,

I have heard from many dealers that the coin business this summer was significantly slower than usual. I am curious as to whether you all have heard or experienced the same? Or would you say business was as usual this summer compared to recent years?

Been a little slow for me, had one good 25k deal last month that helped, but otherwise slow.

Online sales were great, till back-to-school shopping started. Sales are at 2/3 what they were over the summer. Should pick up dramatically once things freeze over.

I haven't had time to look at sales numbers........ But traffic only dropped off a little in June & July.

Not a dealer but I had plenty of time to walk in the sun.

Not a dealer with a B & M but I do buy and sell collections. Was slowest in many years.

Usually is but not this year. This year was Banner sales, more than half dozen 6 figure coins placed
