At one time, I wanted a $3.00 Gold piece really bad. The dealer in St. Joe had a couple of them and I don't remember why I changed my mind, but I ended up with my first (and only) St. Gaudens instead.

Kudos to you, friend. Everyone needs to have a little bit (gold, in my opinion ) . I prefer the Saint to the Princess… but do enjoy the "oddity" of the denomination. Three's company ! Have a happy Easter weekend, all.
