link Can anyone tell me what the discoloration is between the arrows, below the left talons and to the right of the mint mark? Is this residue that didn't rinse from a dip or is it something else. If it is residue from a dip would it be worthwhile to send this in for restoration service? Thank you in advance for any responses.

Interesting. Hard to tell for sure but this coin does look like it's been dipped imo.

Looks like an issue with the lighting in my opinion.

I was expecting a silver coin when I clicked your link... I don't believe there's anything on this that needs to be restored.

It isn't the lighting as I have this coin in hand and there definitely is something there but not sure what. If you click on the close-up picture of the reverse on the thumbnails the area I'm talking about appears dark or black.
