France 5 Francs Lighter $25

French 5 franc (1870) that has been fashioned into a lighter. The original french 1870 5 francs was silver, this one seems to be copper, so I am unsure if a genuine pice was used to make the lighter. Lighter currently does not work, it needs butane as a bare minimum as the cartridge pops out like a zippo lighter. $25 delivered, paypal gift or cheque.

Not fashioned from a real coin, but still a really neat old vintage lighter with a coin lookalike theme.

Cool item. Could very well be worth the price, too. I don't know. I wonder how much importance collectors of vintage lighters place on whether they're in working condition or not?

Might be interesting to see if any other vintage lighters with coin themes can be found in closed ebay auctions. I've seen coins made into pill boxes and lockets and stuff, but this is the first lighter I can recall seeing.
