I stumbled on this little piece on eBay and decided on a whim to purchase as a compliment to my german states sede vacante set. The sterbegroschen ("death dime") is approx 21 mm and was minted in Wurzburg to commemorate the death of the Archbishop Franz Ludwig. The reverse memorializes the dates of his birth, election, and death.



The following image with a dime gives perspective on diameter but it is much thinner than the dime.

Very nice, I think it's very interesting when you can find multiple commemorative pieces for the same event.

That's a good move. I keep an eye on Sede Vacante listing and they seem to be gobbled up.
