ebay: Should I avoid buying cards from a first time seller?

Thank God for this board. I would have made some expensive novice card buying mistakes if it was not for the advice given here.
I am considering purchasing a couple of higher priced cards from a member without any selling history.
This person has bought 9 times and was given positive feedback.
Is there any reason to avoid buying cards from a first time seller?

<< <i>I'm a first time seller this week, not of anything expensive, but I've been nervous people will avoid my auctions for that reason. >>
Looks like you're already on par with the recent Braun sales, any more bids is gravy at this point

Greed is good
In fact, I've known a couple newbies just give up and sell their stuff locally.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.
Plus, as a buyer you can't get ripped off like in the old days.
Edit to add: The first item I ever sold on eBay was a 1979 OPC Gretzky PSA 9.

+1.
