Not started ripping yet and want to check. Is it a myth on the Ripken Elite auto pulled from pack ? Any backdoor lameness out there on this ?

The Ripkens are there, but even a regular Elite card wasn't often seeded at one per case. And that Ripken is just one of many-

Finding a Ripken in a single box is a 1 in a 1,000 type of proposition.

Am I the only one who thinks it's a bit blasphemous to refer to Pete Rose, Nolan Ryan, Dave Winfield, Eddie Murray, and Cal Ripken, Jr as "King of Kings"?

My guess, and I have no idea if this is the case, is perhaps they've appeared on the most DKs to that point?

No, the idea of the "King of Kings" is to honor players who did extraordinary achievements:

1986 Pete Rose: Breaking Ty Cobb's hits record
1990 Nolan Ryan: 5000 K's
1994 Dave Winfiend: 3000 H's/400 HR's
1995 Eddie Murray: 3000 H's/500 HR's (only third player to do so at the time)
1995 Cal Ripken, Jr: Breaking Lou Gehrig's consecutive games record

What I absolutely can't believe is how Willie Mays got left out of the Hall of Fame Diamond King Puzzles lineup!
