Refractor/VCP Help

I have submitted 1998 Topps Gretzky Blast from the Past before, and send of the same thing but the Refractor of it. It came back as:

1998 Topps Blast From the Past 1 Wayne Gretzky Text

Does this mean this card is going to have the same label as the one that is not a refractor? I cant find any graded to compare flips to. I was also wondering if there was any VCP info on this in PSA 9 and 10?

    Not that hard to get the mech error fixed. Call customer service and ask for a hold placed on the shipment until it's been corrected. If you missed it and it already shipped, just send it on back for free mech error relabel. They make mistakes on labels all the time, so they're used to fixing them and are friendly about it.

    VCP has no data on it in 9. Data for PSA 10:

    I'm unsure about the answer to the flip question. I would recommend you call and put a shipping hold on it; ask them about it and get it sorted out ASAP before it goes out their door and you have to send in for a mechanical error fix.

    I don't believe there is a such thing as a 1998 Topps Blast From the Past refractor. The only refractor versions are OPC Chrome, so if you put Topps on the submission form that's what they went by. It's confusing because they use an image of the Topps rookie card instead of the OPC, but they were inserted in the OPC Chrome product. Obviously someone at PSA should've caught this but they get a lot of the late 90s inserts wrong.

    If you sent it back in as an OPC Chrome Blast From the Past Refractor it should get properly labeled.

    Ohhh, well that makes sense. I thought one was just a refractor and one not. Noticed the Pop is lower on the OPC version though so that is a good thing. I contacted PSA.

    You got it. It's a nice card, should command big money if you can get into a 10 holder.
