Being a long time lurker/reader/poster/member, I can say that this is a great place to be if you are a coin collector!

If you just poke your head in here to criticize the coins and say that all of the great posters/experts have left this forum ....

I loved the old days here when it was like the wild west and a walk down
any avenue might get your ear shot off. The banter was always as much fun
as the arguments and small talk. The open forum was an acquired taste
but was truly special. Sure a lot a very good posters are gone but there's
still plenty of good conversation. Things have been slow for a while but, then
many other sites on many subjects have been a little slow as well.

There's a great deal of quality here and it's the first place I stop. It still feels
a lot like the pulse of the hobby. Other places might be better for knowing
collectors or various market segments but this is where it all comes together.

Of course a blue fish is required after mentioning the open forum;



I'd like to think the fish has been earned on the "strenght" of the post as well.

Cladking, I have always loved your post, expertise, and contributions to my own experience of collecting.

In another thread, I said crassly "STFU" because that was Jay's favorite thing to say to those who didn't agree with him, lol. I know you will remember.

I think he is a great guy, I just appreciate all of the experts who are currently posting, as well as the coinage "as it is given to us by the mint."

Thank you for educating me all of these years on the topics you an expert in!

Pound for pound, CladKing is the undisputed "King" of the most interesting, educational coinage posts EVER on this forum! I have learned so much over the years reading posts that he has written, I cannot thank Him enough.
