Is the Mantle worth grading

Just got this. Thinking about grading, but as you can see, the bottom left corner has a missing bit. Does this mean automatic 1/poor like a pinhole?

WTB: PSA 1 - PSA 3 Centered, High Eye Appeal 1950's Mantle
In order to achieve a Fair grade, a card must be fully intact. Even though the card may be heavily worn, it cannot achieve this grade if it is missing solid pieces of the card as a result of a major tear, etc.
PR 1: Poor
A Poor card may be missing one or two small pieces, exhibit major creasing that nearly breaks through all the layers of cardboard or it may contain extreme discoloration or dirtiness throughout that may make it difficult to identify the issue or content of the card on either the front or back.
I would have the card graded regardless of the grade that it may receive.
if that's so, if anyone wants to deal with grading, make me a good offer via PM. thanks
It's a shame that piece is missing. I agree that it will be a "1", but I also think it may get a M/C as well. Part of the baseball at the top on the reverse is missing.
Best of luck with the sale.

I was thinking the same thing D. Bone.
<< <i>dunno on the auto grade, but that presents pretty well and is a nice looking card >>
What auto?? That is a facsimile auto on the back.

I believe they were referring to the original poster asking about it receiving an "automatic" grade of 1.

Gotcha, did not catch that!!
would for sure slab it
note: I do not think that is fake btw (if wondering if I was implying that)

Taking a look at the card, it seems pixilated. It stands out to me around the signs in the outfield and along the brim of his hat. Here is an authentic for comparison:

Phil ... I think that would be your best bet, because, as I mentioned to you prior, it may come back PSA "1MK". GOOD LUCK.

it costs you the same regardless what it comes back, so there's no "upside" potential of a grade
all you're potentially getting is that it's "authentic", and while that's certainly worth something i'm not sure it would change any economics of the card

I was thinking the same thing about the reverse Doug.
It's miscut.
