What Abraham Lincoln has in common with the Dimes?

Hi guy's, Did anyone ever notice the " chair " he's sitting on at the Lincoln Memorial? Look at the two front sides of the chair. Are they FB or not?image

    They are called fasces and they are represented in many places, both in the United States and across the world. It symbolizes collective strength, one lone stick is weak, but when banded together, they are strong.

    Very interesting. Did not know this, thanks for the info. What I find ironic also, is the year they erected the Monument (1922) was also a year they did not mint a Mercury dime.image
